Build 1160 - Victory Actions!


Build 1160 contains an experimental feature: Victory Actions. When any student makes a kill they are awarded 1 Victory Point. As the campaign progresses, students can spend Victory Points on a variety of actions while roaming the halls of the school. The effects of Victory Actions vary widely and can be discovered in-game. Victory Actions add a bit more strategic fun and give the students some small bonuses - so if you find the game very difficult (or you want to test the feature), please start your campaign by checking the Victory Actions box.

I'll probably add more Victory Actions over time as I think of them, and I definitely will be tweaking the cost of actions for game balance.

Here are the full set of release notes for Build 1160:

  • Added tooltip for north and south cafeteria kitchen squares to minimap.
  • New feature: Victory Actions. Players spend points to do certain discoverable actions in the game.
  • Remove ?victoryPoints URL param. Add option to create game with Victory Actions.
  • Only show victory actions the player can actually perform and hide the rest.
  • Do not allow any victory actions on night 10.
